From this study (2 days ago):
I have had a dry mouth on and off for 3 years and it seemed to start after I had a wisdom tooth removed. I was told by Birmingham dental hospital that omeprazole was the cause and to stop taking it. I changed to esomeprazole and it went away for a while but returned in November 2014. Sometimes it is very severe, sometimes tolerable but always there. My tongue and lips sometimes feel serated. It is worse during the night and first thing in the morning. Tried chewing sugar free gum but it only makes my tongue sore.
From this study (3 days ago):
Numbness and pain is worse at night. Started Wearing a brace at night which really helps. Also soaking in warm Epson salts and then holding a cold glass of ice helps. Sometimes the numbness just about goes away during the day, even thought I perform normal activities.
