Hi there I got akathisia after compazine for dizziness in Jan 2014 and then got put on ssris due to being suicidal. I tapered for one year and got off the Ssri in October 2015 and am now in withdrawal very very sick and still have mild akathisia which got really bad again in December 2015 after a dentist injected me with local anaesthetic and adrenalin. I now need breast surgery and am terrified of all medications and anaesthetic. I can have local or general and I just don't know which will be best. They have said it would be propofol for general or bupivocaine for local. Any suggestions would be much appreciated thank you.
