Hello, i'm a 22 year old male. i've been medicating myself with Marijuana for over a year now. In my early consumption phase, i started up with 1 to 2 Joints everyday and ended up being continuously High for a Whole Weeks (5 to 8 Joints per day). I started feeling the secondary effects as anxiety and depression kicked in. The more i thought i should stop, the more i wanted to consume. It then came to the point where i went to support groups and lately to a Psychiatrist. I moved out to my brothers place. After a week i was prescribed Citalopram 20 mg. However i did not stop smoking weed. It's been 6 Days that i am taking Citalopram and i smoked weed once since then. It feels like the effect of Citalopram is augmented by weed and vise versa. I'm afraid i would finish by doing harm to myself, pursuing this path, but it seems it's what my body and mind are craving for. I would like to have contact with people who are or were in my situation.
I have been using Simpson Oil several times a week for the past year and I've developed an Atrial flutter that is being treated with Diltiazem. It's just been brought to my attention that my marijuana use may have caused this. BTY, I'm 74. I'm curious to hear other's experiences with marijuana and the heart.
