Developed a hematoma after total hysterectomy. Started on antibiotics for hematoma. Been on opiate pain meds (fentanyl, dialudid, etc) for two years due to low back injury. Pain management doctor increased fentanyl from 100 mcg/ 48 hr to 125and mcg/ 48 hr and increased breakthrough pain medicine from dilaudid 4mg/ 8 hrs to 8mgs/ 8 hrs.
