I have been on Morphine Sulfate ER 30mg 3x a day for 2 years. I developed angioedema 1 year ago and have been on prednisone 8mg. I am having horrible side effects from prednisone and the doctor doesn't know what's causing the angioedema. He wants me to go off Morphine and see if it stops the angioedema. Has anyone had to go off Morphine for this problem and if so, how long did it take to see if Morphine was the culprit. thank you so much.
