My psych doc and I are talking about starting Neurontin to combat my alcohol cravings. I was great on Wellbutrin for that, but my hair started falling out by the handfuls after 3 months. Have been off the Wellbutrin for a month and a half; hair still falling out and I'm drinking again. : ( Will Neurontin continue to make my hair fall out? Between my bipolar depression, impact on my self-esteem ( hair loss) and my panic over becoming alcohol-dependent I'm a real mess. Help!!!
Hi, I'm a 43 year old woman taking soma for muscle spasticity/cervical dystonia and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. I am new to the group and wondering if the people who have hair loss while on soma also have pain and redness on their scalp. I take soma, and I have always had thick hair, both my parents still have a full head of hair, so I don't think it is heredity causing the spotty hair loss. It is making my depression worse, and am feeling very self conscious. I saw a dermatologist a year ago and he said I didnt have alopecia. But he barely looked, and it has gotten a lot worse in the last year. 😔
They put me on Adderall XR 25mg for my ADHD. I'm also on lithium carbonate er and neurontin. I was on the adderall for one week and now I'm still having symptoms of psychosis. I'm hallucinating and having a hard time distinguishing what is real and what isn't. I still have extreme paranoia as well. I've been off of it for about a month. When I was on it I didn't talk to anybody cause I was delusional and believed EVERYONE had hidden intentions to destroy me (even those closest to me). I still have some of that. I just want all the psychosis to stop. It's stressing me out. Anyone having any suggestions to help? I hallucinate shadows and people and hearing my name. I see people looking at me and I feel like they're judging me and planning something.

Not really sure it the Chromium Picolinate is causing the hair loss. This has never happened in the past. I also take Biotin, B12, Calcium, and Vitamin C. I trying to figure out where my hair loss is coming from. My hair is growing, and thinning. It's not breaking off, just coming out at the root.
