  • He has severe hiccups with vomiting that will last for weeks at a time & tend to come in cycles lasting 10-12 days continuous & cycle every 2-3 weeks........ He is unable to speak once it starts and even has severe breathing attacks during hiccups. He has been to the ER multiple times, to no avail. He has had CT's, c-scopes & e-scopes. He has excessive GI reflux & takes Nexium daiiy, with no relief. He has also taken muscle relaxers, tranquilizers, anti-nausea meds, etc....NONE of which resolve the issue.

  • I believe alot of my symptoms are related but after seeing 7 different specialists and them running many different tests I still don't have a diagnosis. Many of the tests are abnormal but nothing seems to fit completely together. My gastroenterologist is referring me to a surgeon for severe gastro reflux that can't be controlled with medication. I can't take the ferrous sulfate because of nausea.

    I'm not sure what state you live in but I have researched this same issue and THC the active ingredient in Marijuana and a few other active chemicals will calm the stomach and increase appetite. I'm not a user but I am considering it under medical advice.

  • I have diverticulitis and gastritis,i take nexium and was taking dexilant. my stomache always feels bloated and i have a hard time at staying regular on bowel movements.I eat fiber wafers every morning,drink water all day. My upper stomache feels swelled right under my ribs and i itch on my ribs and in my armpits
