My daughter (age 16) has been taking omeprazole for less than 2 weeks and had what sounds like a tonic seizure. I was out of town and my husband didn't want to scare me so he didn't say anything until I got home. Now it's late on a Saturday night and I know her doctor's office won't be open tomorrow to ask an opinion. I don't know what to think but my mind is racing. Should we have her stop taking the medication? It was prescribed as a trial to see if it would help what could be an acid reflux problem while we wait for the referral to a gastroenterologist to go through. She said the throat bubble feeling has been helped but her stomach still hurts, especially in the moring if she gets up to early or too fast.
My osteopenia has gotten much worse and I am at risk for osteoperosis in my hips. I am 54 and have had scleroderma for 12 years. It is suggested that I take Evista. My question is, am I at risk for kick-starting the progression of my scleroderma by taking this drug?
Had cataract surgery in April. Have used a number of eye drops including Combigan. Finally Googled to see if eye drops might be the cause. Have been to ENT, Oral Specialist, and Neurologist. Have even had brain MRI. No one ever suggested eye drops. Will be discussing this with my Opthalmologist ...

I've been taking Prilosec for 2 weeks and it seems to help my acid reflux, but now I'm constipated and having mid to lower back pain... Anyone else? I also notice that my stools (when I do have them) are darker than usual???
I just researched if Omeprazole may cause excessive sweating. I've been on Omeprazole for 5-6 years now. Anyone else have this problem? My son takes Prilosec and also has this problem. Perhaps PPI drugs? Thanks for your response.
Hi, I'm new to online groups. Today I've joined because I've been taking Benzonatate in conjunction with antibiotics. I've lost my sense of smell and taste we're going on 3 days. Can anyone tell me if my senses will return to normal? If so, how long will it take?
