I have been taking Restasis for 8+ years for dry eye. After a back injury in 2011 I had x-rays and dexa scans. Recently a second scan revealed a -2.4 z score. (.1 from osteoporosis). I am a 45 year old male. My first dexa scan was in 2011 and in 2014 there is a 7+% decrease in BMD, all while taking 1200mg calcium and vit d supplements. All other blood test results are normal.
