10 months later I can say now, that when I got off the add medication my acne went away pretty much immediatly. Which is great, but left me with un medicated add. Then I started to really start figuring out my body and it's ailments. I went to a dermatologist, a gi doctor, and a allergist. Turns out all the problems, skin, stomach, everything, all stem from the fact that I'm allergic to cobalt. Cobalt is used in the blue dye coating (capsule/tablet)around the medicine itself. It's in the Popsicles, Gatorade, and various other foods that have been making me nauseous on a good day, and flu like on a bad day(in vitamin b12= multivitamins, certain energy bars! energy drinks). It's on the zippers on my clothes, the costume jewelry, belts, buttons, etc. that give me rashes, hives, acne and contact dermatitis. It's on tools, medical instruments, in paint, in everything. I've spent the last few weeks avoiding cobalt and feel much better! And now I'm trying adderal again, just in a pill that isn't blue. Hopefully it works!!!

I wash my face in the morning and in the night, drink lots of water, work out, eat healhty, no sugar, soy, wheat, and all stimulants make me break out. They cause your pores to go into overload and over produce oil! I am covered with cystic acne, that is 100% from my ritilin, vivance was even worse, I looked like I had an allergic reaction to something.

Ummm I'm 34, and no longer making progesterone, I'm far from going through puberty. I recently started taking adderal and am having the same issues. I had no zits, and now I'm covered.

Ummmm... are you serious??? Zits happen because of puberty and not washing your face with soap and warm water often enough. my guess is you put her on ritalin because she is an overactive teanager that cannot focus... another side effect of puberty. translation. its the hormones egad
