Hi. New member here. I was taking saw palmetto to prevent some slight hair loss. At the time that was my biggest concern. I wish it still was. I took it for sbout 6 months powrder form and only took one a day as opposed to the recommended 2 a day. It was the powder form 320 mg i believe. Everything was going great untuil i had a one night stsnd with some chick i met at the bar and could nkt get it up the next morning. Now... i was hung over and she was nit ghat cute but for some reason i thought i might want to look at the supps im taking. That was the morning everything changed from that time on i have been terrifed that i have pfs. Post finasteride syndrome. Ever since then. So i quit the product and i had some lower back pain for the next few days i would think from the hormonal change i was going through. I never had any ed issues and my labido did drop a little bit but if you fast forwar 4 months to now. I am depressed and have anxiaty bad. Quality of life is shit at this point. No motivation to even get out of bed. My worry still is.....is this perminant? Is this post finasteride syndrome? Has anyone else just developed anxiaty and depression from this stuff? I see some light in trying to convince myself that because i never had any ed or sexual issues that its not pfs. I dont know. I just feel helpless and that sucks. Any advise is welcome.

I'm 80 years old and have been taking saw palmetto for over 15 years and now have a problem with potassium due to congestive heart failure. I'm willing to get up more times in the night if that's what it takes to get the potassium down. I welcome any suggestions.
I took a prostate health product that included saw palmetto for years before developing enlarged prostate and ic. I had a TURP operation for my prostate and stopped taking saw palmetto. A couple years later I still have ic and am thinking about taking saw palmetto to see if it helps.
