I've suffered with generalized GA for nearly a decade. I decided to stop taking simvastatin to see if my lesions would clear. I'm extremely happy to report that after 6 months, I'm about 75% clear. I still have a few lesions on my legs, but they are fading nicely. My arms, neck and shoulders are 99% clear. I wish I had paid more attention to the timing of my outbreaks, but they roughly coincide with when I started the medication and got much worse when the dose was increased. I hope this information is helpful to others. Lisa

Hi, I live in London, UK and have been on Tamsulosin for 4 years. In the past year my GFR has gone down from 60ml/min to 42ml/min. The only regular medication I have been taking is Tamsulosin 0.4mg daily. I wonder if tamsulosin may be the culprit? I would love to hear your experiences. Arun
