  • Anyone else think omeprazole could have caused their vitiligo?
I have been taking Equate brand Omeprazole for years after being diagnosed with GERD and running out of prescription nexium. I did this because I am afraid of the GERD possibly coming back and being at risk for cancer. I just read that Omeprazole blocks B12 (I knew about calcium and take supplements). I started taking B12 sublingually and just got prescription creams for the vitiligo. I'm going to try going off the Omeprazole and continue the other items and see if this reverses my vitiligo spots.

Anybody try this, or heard much of Omeprazole side effects being white skin patches? It seems this is still not widely known by the medical community or the pharmaceuticals are successfully containing this financially bad news.
  • Metallic taste with vesicare
I have barretts esophagus. I have been on vesicare 3 months and have a horrible metal taste in my mouth and severe gastric distress. Does any one else have this issue.
  • Can imodium and tagamet cause insomnia ? (1 answer)
Have taken 2 OTC Tagamet per day for 2 days and up to 4 Imodium per day for diarrhea. Have not been able to sleep during the 2 nights I've taken these two drugs together. I feel quite exhausted, but cannot actually fall asleep. Even after taking 2 OTC Sominex ( the doxylamine type ), but
I may dose off for a few ( three or four ) hours after 1mg of Klonopin; half the dose Rx'd me.
Is this insomnia normal for Imodium and Tagamet?
