  • In the past 3 months I've had numerous medication changes. I never had problems with blood pressure, cholesterol or sugar. I go for blood tests every three months to see if my Synthroid needs to be adjusted and the lab does a battery of other tests also.
Last year my blood sugar was 84 and cholesterol 181.
In April, my blood sugar was 123 and cholesterol 215.
Today, the results of my labs were blood sugar 124 and cholesterol 252!! I've been eating healthier than I ever have, salads, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, no white foods, low carbs, oats and other whole grains. I have not been eating sugar, I don't eat beef or pork, I've been eating salmon, and chicken or turkey if I eat meat with my meals, most of the time I don't, I get protein from beans or quinoa.
I walk for exercise and clean houses. I don't drink or smoke. I am totally clueless as to why the test results were so bad when I was doing everything right. I also take herbs. Cinnamon, Bitter Melon and Fenugreek to lower sugar, also drinking water that Okra has been soaking in. For cholesterol, I take Cholestoff, Krill Oil (highest dosage,) and Red Yeast Rice.

  • my eyes are always bothering me. I am taking restasis for dry eye but they seem to be worse. Very irritated, crusty after sleeping and swollen lids and around eye area. I also have swelling in my whole body. I have never experienced swelling in my body before ( not even when I was pregnant). I also have numbness and tingling in my left cheek of my face. I had an MRI and it ruled out Multiple sclerosis.
