Had an emergency appendectomy in February with complications.... have lived with joint, muscle pain most of my adult life. Constant stomach problems from a young wage. IBS, constipation, nausea, loss of appetite. Feel like I am basically a failure, unable to keep a permanent job. Marriage is on verge of divorce, my family thinks it's all in my head, and that I cause this or even like to be a I. That I do it for attention, or mainly bc I am not responsible. I do not like discussing with family bc I feel misunderstood & like a. Broken record. I want to participate in life , if I don't I am criticized , if I do I pay the price. With either "pain" or comments like " well you did this "
I feel scared, alone , but mostly hurt all over, including heart ache!!
It's very confusing and will definitely make you think you are crazy at times.
Was told yesterday I had fibromyalgia & vasculitis . Going to have blood test tomorrow .

I had those same symptoms and they discovered a parathyroid tumor. Check out the symptoms for that. I was told I had fibromyalgia for years and lived in pain. Now it is gone and I feel much better. A sestamibi parathyroid scan will tell you for sure even when the parathyroid blood test comes back normal. Usually with this you have a high blood calcium as well.

But instantly after taking norco I loose my memory simular to the effect of Ambien did to me. So Norco IS NOT THE SAME AS LORITAB 10 which I took daily for 10 years. Chronic pain from having had 22 surgeries from heart bypass, cervical and lumbar fusion even cut of and had 4 fingers reattached and many more

I went to a Rheumatologist and he said I have Hashimoto disease and said its not serious enough to take meds for. The test is - Thyroid Peroxidase Antiboties - my number is 363. It says that is should be <9. I was wondering if these medications I am on could be causing abnormal reading. I do have severe inflammation due to serious injuries.

Please get treated! Go to a functional medicine doctor...those antibodies are way too high, no matter what the root cause...pick up the book Stop the Thyroid Madness, as well as The Root Cause by Isabela Wentz. Also check out Mary Shomon. There are FB Support Groups as well, including Hashimoto's 411, For Thyroid Patients Only, several others to find information and support, where we are all Hashi's sufferers. Please be your own best advocate and get to the right doctor (not an endo despite what you may have been led to believe) who will actually help you! I am a long time Hashimoto's patient, trust me!
