67 years old, female having extreme pain at Vitamin B-12 shot point of injection and in my shoulder. I have suspected that the joint pain I have been having was related to B-12 shots. But the last shot I got 10 days ago cofirmed my theory. After 10 days, I still have a substantial bruise and small knot where the shot was injected. I am experiencing severe pain at that area and in my shoulder. And a few days ago I was having pain extending to my shoulder blades.
My osteopenia has gotten much worse and I am at risk for osteoperosis in my hips. I am 54 and have had scleroderma for 12 years. It is suggested that I take Evista. My question is, am I at risk for kick-starting the progression of my scleroderma by taking this drug?

Found out I have had Lyme disease and was prescribed by Doctor to Take vitamin B-12 Injections. My questions are if there is a alternative orally as appose to injections that has had success? And does B-12 possibly make the Lyme disease worse?
