  • I am considered "morbidly obese" but until recently had been a healthy obese

Under doctor's supervision have been on aggressive diet for 6months and have lost 50lbs - but have seen an increase in the size of my thighs and abdomen

Have also been treated for lymphedema of the lower leg - which started with the trauma of an infected insect bite, on the same leg that had two ankle sprains. With manual lymph drainage and compression stockings, the lower legs have become under control.

The swelling has moved north - into the thighs and abdomen. so much so, the pressure at my knee caused a hyper extension of the joint that I have been recovering from for almost a year.

Related to this - my belly button is now protruding and looking potentially like it's herniated....

I've also had a row of lesions on lower abdomen - that haven't been active since last summer. Until last Thurs - when one reactivate, swelled, and eventually drained Saturday.

Had lots of gas Saturday night. Then on Sunday it felt like there was pressure on the bladder - frequent desire to urinate without volume ongoing for 3 days.

The pressure on my bladder - is typical near the beginning of a period - but usually for a part day when I first start to menstruate. I'm in the middle of my cycle and not due to menstruate for 2 more weeks.

Have had regular bloodwork and urinalysis - it's not a UTI or Bladder Infection...normal white cell count.

Am concerned about the possibility of Endometriosis and wondering if it could be connected to the lymphedema (or at least if both conditions are escalating one another).

Could any of the medicines I'm taking be exaggerating this?
