My Crestor was recently increased from 10 mg. to 20 mg. secondary to abnormal labs. I wasn't totally NPO as I had coffee with cream approx. 6 hours earlier. My physician felt that he could allow for this when he read the results. After approximately a week or less the fingers on my right hand felt tired and stiff like I had been tournament bowling. I very quickly progressed to joint pain, specifically the middle finger which was extremely painful at times. I have a neuropathy in my left hand, so I can't compare the two hands. I stopped the Crestor for a couple of days and it seemed to improve. I was wondering if the sudden increase in Crestor could cause that particular joint pain.
