  • I suffered for over 12 months in and out of A & E with suspected heart problems whilst taking Simvastatin - even had an angiogram that was clear when I suddenly realised that possibly my chest pains and breathlessness were connected to taking a statin - stopped taking the statin and my symptoms disappeared.
