I had side effects from statin drugs -- severe muscle and joint pain. Changed to Zetia and my knees hurt so badly that I almost could not get up and down out of a chair. Stopped Zetia and my knee pain disappeared within a few weeks. Have gained approximately 50 lb while on the drugs listed.
