Hello, I began taking Lo loestrin Fe about a year and a half ago. When I first started taking it, I had an abnormally long period cycle: 12 days of bleeding. After that I stopped having a period altogether. I also noticed that I gained about 5 lbs, and my sex drive was completely gone. As of 5 days ago I've decided to stop taking birth control for good, because this amenorrhea has lasted for WAY too long, and although it was nice to not go through the pains that periods bring for nearly 2 years, it is completely unhealthy for the uterus to not shed monthly. Hopefully I get my period back soon. So far the only thing I've noticed is light spotting and some blemishes. Hope this info helped someone!
Hi! I am going absolutely crazy because I have not had a period since beginning wellbutrin 6 weeks ago and no one seems to believe it is related to the meds!! I am 32 years old, 99.9% sure I am not pregnant and since starting wellbutritn have been feeling much happier, however 10 days ago my dose had been increased to 300 mg (from 150 mg) and I have been nauseous ever since. Along with the nausea, I have been experiencing PMS-like symptoms for over a week (bloating, some cramps here and there, swollen breasts). I also gained about 3-4 lbs in the last 10 days (normal weight around 115-116, currently bouncing between 119-120 lbs); I am 5'5 so this weight is fine for my body it just feels very umm... fluffy and swollen, not natural like when I have fluctuated at other times in my life.
Hello-I'm no longer taking Cytomel, but I did for a short time 3-4 yrs ago & my periods stopped. I was able to get them restarted, but I've been under a lot of stress recently & I haven't had a period in at least 3 mos.
