Pyridoxal and Isoniazid drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Pyridoxal and Isoniazid. Common interactions include pleural effusion among females and pyrexia among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people who take Pyridoxal and Isoniazid have. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 231 people who take Pyridoxal and Isoniazid from the FDA, and is updated regularly. You can use the study as a second opinion to make health care decisions.
Phase IV trials are used to detect adverse drug outcomes and monitor drug effectiveness in the real world. With medical big data and AI algorithms, eHealthMe is running millions of phase IV trials and makes the results available to the public. Our original studies have been referenced on 600+ medical publications including The Lancet, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, and Nature.
231 people who take Pyridoxal and Isoniazid together, and have interactions are studied.
What is Pyridoxal?
Pyridoxal has active ingredients of pyridoxine (vitamin b6). eHealthMe is studying from 816 Pyridoxal users for its effectiveness, alternative drugs and more.
What is Isoniazid?
Isoniazid has active ingredients of isoniazid. It is often used in tuberculosis. eHealthMe is studying from 18,147 Isoniazid users for its effectiveness, alternative drugs and more.

The study uses data from the FDA. It is based on pyridoxine (vitamin b6) and isoniazid (the active ingredients of Pyridoxal and Isoniazid, respectively), and Pyridoxal and Isoniazid (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study. Patients in the study may take other drugs besides Pyridoxal and Isoniazid.
