It is based on interferon beta 1a and acetaminophen; aspirin; caffeine (the active ingredients of Avonex and Excedrin, respectively), and Avonex and Excedrin (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
