Biktarvy and Lovenox drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Biktarvy (bictegravir sodium; emtricitabine; tenofovir alafenamide fumarate) and Lovenox (enoxaparin sodium). Common drug interactions include anhedonia among females and emotional distress among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Biktarvy and Lovenox. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 21 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Biktarvy?
Biktarvy has active ingredients of bictegravir sodium; emtricitabine; tenofovir alafenamide fumarate. It is often used in hiv infection. eHealthMe is studying from 19,543 Biktarvy users. Check the latest studies of Biktarvy.
What is Lovenox?
Lovenox has active ingredients of enoxaparin sodium. It is often used in deep venous thrombosis. eHealthMe is studying from 48,149 Lovenox users. Check the latest studies of Lovenox.
21 people who take Biktarvy and Lovenox together, and have interactions are studied.

The study uses data from the FDA. It is based on bictegravir sodium; emtricitabine; tenofovir alafenamide fumarate and enoxaparin sodium (the active ingredients of Biktarvy and Lovenox, respectively), and Biktarvy and Lovenox (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
