Didronel and Arthrotec drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Didronel (etidronate disodium) and Arthrotec (diclofenac sodium; misoprostol). Common drug interactions include muscular weakness among females and myocardial ischaemia among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Didronel and Arthrotec. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 22 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Didronel?
Didronel has active ingredients of etidronate disodium. eHealthMe is studying from 1,587 Didronel users. Check the latest studies of Didronel.
What is Arthrotec?
Arthrotec has active ingredients of diclofenac sodium; misoprostol. It is often used in arthritis. eHealthMe is studying from 11,986 Arthrotec users. Check the latest studies of Arthrotec.
22 people who take Didronel and Arthrotec together, and have interactions are studied.

The study uses data from the FDA. It is based on etidronate disodium and diclofenac sodium; misoprostol (the active ingredients of Didronel and Arthrotec, respectively), and Didronel and Arthrotec (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
How to use the study?
DO NOT STOP MEDICATIONS without first consulting your doctor. If there are any serious or long term adverse effects discovered in the study, discuss the study with your doctor to ensure that proper medication management will be in place if applicable.
