It is based on aluminum hydroxide; magnesium trisilicate and sulfamethoxazole; trimethoprim (the active ingredients of Gaviscon and Septra, respectively), and Gaviscon and Septra (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
