Gemzar and Regular insulin drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Gemzar (gemcitabine hydrochloride) and Regular insulin (insulin pork). Common drug interactions include dyspnoea among females and pyrexia among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Gemzar and Regular insulin. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 15 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Gemzar?
Gemzar has active ingredients of gemcitabine hydrochloride. It is often used in pancreatic carcinoma. eHealthMe is studying from 20,315 Gemzar users. Check the latest studies of Gemzar.
What is Regular insulin?
Regular insulin has active ingredients of insulin pork. It is often used in type 1 diabetes. eHealthMe is studying from 2,848 Regular insulin users. Check the latest studies of Regular insulin.
15 people who take Gemzar and Regular insulin together, and have interactions are studied.

What are the common drug interactions of Gemzar and Regular Insulin, by gender? *:

- Dyspnoea (difficult or laboured respiration)
- Pyrexia (fever)

- Haemoglobin decreased
- Hypercalcaemia (elevated calcium (ca+) level in the blood)
- Lung consolidation (a condition whereby the lung tissues solidify because of the accumulation of solid and liquid material in the air spaces)
- Lung infiltration (a substance that normally includes fluid, inflammatory exudates or cells that fill a region of lung)
male:
- Pyrexia (fever)
- Vomiting
- Haemorrhagic stroke (stroke caused by the rupture of a blood vessel in the brain)
