It is based on metformin hydrochloride; sitagliptin phosphate and deferasirox (the active ingredients of Janumet and Exjade, respectively), and Janumet and Exjade (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
