It is based on dextromethorphan hydrobromide; guaifenesin and valacyclovir hydrochloride (the active ingredients of Mucinex dm and Valacyclovir, respectively), and Mucinex dm and Valacyclovir (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
