Risperdal and Hydrocodone drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Risperdal (risperidone) and Hydrocodone (hydrocodone bitartrate; ibuprofen). Common drug interactions include chronic kidney disease among females and anaphylactic reaction among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Risperdal and Hydrocodone. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 20 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Risperdal?
Risperdal has active ingredients of risperidone. It is often used in bipolar disorder. eHealthMe is studying from 127,729 Risperdal users. Check the latest studies of Risperdal.
What is Hydrocodone?
Hydrocodone has active ingredients of hydrocodone bitartrate; ibuprofen. eHealthMe is studying from 13,115 Hydrocodone users. Check the latest studies of Hydrocodone.
20 people who take Risperdal and Hydrocodone together, and have interactions are studied.

How the study uses the data?
The study uses data from the FDA. It is based on risperidone and hydrocodone bitartrate; ibuprofen (the active ingredients of Risperdal and Hydrocodone, respectively), and Risperdal and Hydrocodone (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
How to use the study?
DO NOT STOP MEDICATIONS without first consulting your doctor. If there are any serious or long term adverse effects discovered in the study, discuss the study with your doctor to ensure that proper medication management will be in place if applicable.
