Sudafed and Contac drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Sudafed (pseudoephedrine hydrochloride) and Contac (chlorpheniramine maleate; phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride). Common drug interactions include white blood cell count decreased among females and cerebrovascular accident among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Sudafed and Contac. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 31 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Sudafed?
Sudafed has active ingredients of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. It is often used in nasal congestion. eHealthMe is studying from 12,944 Sudafed users. Check the latest studies of Sudafed.
What is Contac?
Contac has active ingredients of chlorpheniramine maleate; phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride. eHealthMe is studying from 2,877 Contac users. Check the latest studies of Contac.
31 people who take Sudafed and Contac together, and have interactions are studied.
