It is based on drospirenone; ethinyl estradiol and sulfamethoxazole; trimethoprim (the active ingredients of Yaz and Bactrim ds, respectively), and Yaz and Bactrim ds (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
