Ambien and Chlorothiazide drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Ambien (zolpidem tartrate) and Chlorothiazide (chlorothiazide). Common drug interactions include pneumonia among females and hernia among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Ambien and Chlorothiazide. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 12 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Ambien?
Ambien has active ingredients of zolpidem tartrate. It is often used in insomnia. eHealthMe is studying from 93,519 Ambien users. Check the latest studies of Ambien.
What is Chlorothiazide?
Chlorothiazide has active ingredients of chlorothiazide. eHealthMe is studying from 1,220 Chlorothiazide users. Check the latest studies of Chlorothiazide.

How the study uses the data?
The study uses data from the FDA. It is based on zolpidem tartrate and chlorothiazide (the active ingredients of Ambien and Chlorothiazide, respectively), and Ambien and Chlorothiazide (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
