It is based on lidocaine; prilocaine and valacyclovir hydrochloride (the active ingredients of Emla and Valacyclovir hydrochloride, respectively), and Emla and Valacyclovir hydrochloride (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
