I'm Sherri, 59, wife mother of 7. I was diagnosed Aug 2015 with stage IV non-tobacco nonsmall cell lung cancer with mets to lymph nodes, rib, hip, much of chest area. I was only able to do 2 IV infusions of carboplatin and pemexetred and progression of very large lung tumor continued. 2 weeks later, I was fortunate to be selected for Xalkori. I carry the ALK1 gene mutation. I have experienced severe to mild nausea, light headedness, mild to moderate edema in lower legs and feet.
