Augmentin and Gilenya drug interactions - a phase IV clinical study of FDA data
Summary:
Drug interactions are reported among people who take Augmentin (amoxicillin; clavulanate potassium) and Gilenya (fingolimod). Common drug interactions include visual impairment among females and foetal exposure during pregnancy among males.
The phase IV clinical study analyzes what interactions people have when they take Augmentin and Gilenya. It is created by eHealthMe based on reports of 63 people who take the same drugs from the FDA, and is updated regularly.
What is Augmentin?
Augmentin has active ingredients of amoxicillin; clavulanate potassium. It is often used in sinusitis. eHealthMe is studying from 42,620 Augmentin users. Check the latest studies of Augmentin.
What is Gilenya?

How the study uses the data?
The study uses data from the FDA. It is based on amoxicillin; clavulanate potassium and fingolimod (the active ingredients of Augmentin and Gilenya, respectively), and Augmentin and Gilenya (the brand names). Other drugs that have the same active ingredients (e.g. generic drugs) are not considered. Dosage of drugs is not considered in the study.
