A 59yo male, After 3 weeks, Feeling cold in hands and legs especially in evening when sitting and at bedtime. Stiffness and burning in fingers. Extra clothes cause sweating while hands and legs remain cold. Hot water bottle is helpful. Sometimes cold body core feeling makes it difficult to go to sleep and takes a long time to warm up.
I am 75 years old and have always been very active. Still working. Still going to gym. Still playing golf 3x week. Still cutting grass and pretty much anything I want to. I know I have lots more energy than other friends that are the same age. My problem is that I had to have some bypasses in legs and have been on Xarelto for over 3 years. I live in deep South so hot here. Almost every time I play gold - toward the end of the game I feel like I am going to faint. I call it exhaustion beyond exhaustion and sometimes last couple of holes, not able to complete game. I know about dehydration and that is not it. I have very small yard and have to stop several times before completing to rest. I am sure it is something to do with heat and not dehydration. Do you think side effect of Xarelton and what other med could I take in lieu of.
I have just been diagnosed with Addison's disease. I am on xarelto I believe I have gone undiagnosed about 3 1/2 years. About 4 years ago I was taken off warfarin and placed on Xarelto I have protein C def. so I have been on Coumadin/ warfarin since I was 22. I have had lots of DVTs Two in my brain and lots In my left leg. I have also had/have Mays Thurners that vein was opened back up using stints. I had to have them replaced two years ago because they fill w clots. I am facing another surgery to have them replaced again for the third time. I do not think that actual bleeding damage has been done to my adrenals- but is Addison's disease or a burn out of adrenal glands -can that be due to taking xyeralto as one of it's rare side effects? Thanks Angela

I took xarelto because of blood clot in my lung in 2014 but also I got a prostage enlarged then my doctor gave me proscar but I got terrible side effects: 100% decrease my sex life..no perm when sex...and more things occur on me... By these above reasons I would like to change to herbal medicine I hope better than now!! But I have been studied about this case it seem to get reaction if using Xarelto together with herbal like saw palmetto. Please help me what should I do . Anyone there got more experiences about this above my problem. Thanks a lot.
I have had 2 blood clots on my left leg since March. (actually they were found in march) I was on Coumadin and Lovenox. Doctors said my blood was not staying at same level and put me on Xaralto. I said I was concerned because I saw bad news written and on tv about it. They said its is untrue. I began bleeding ..thought I had my period...5 days after I started Xaralto. It lasted a month. Dr said it was just a side effect. I continued bleeding for another month, That 2 months non stop. I started to get very ill and blood worsened. I brought myself to Emergency Room and found out I now had anemia !! Now I have to go for the next 5 weeks for Iron transfusion !!
